TOD Communities

TOD Communities have strong potential to support transit-oriented development and include residents who would benefit most from these investments.

Based on the 2022 TOD Zoning Study, 22 transit lines were selected as TOD Corridors across 26 communities. TOD Corridors (shown in dark blue) were selected based on a detailed analysis of transit frequency (30 minutes or less during the morning rush hour), density (concentration of population, houses, and jobs) and the presence of transit‑dependent populations.

TOD Buffers (shown in dark gray) illustrate the 1/4‑mile radius around each bus stop and the 1/2‑mile radius around each train station along these corridors; these areas are the primary focus for ongoing TOD efforts.
